Back in March, Fossil Rim in Glen Rose announced the birth of two new baby giraffes, but apparently those weren’t the only new animals added to the conservation facility. The wildlife center recently announced they have actually had four new baby giraffes born since March. Now, they are asking the metroplex for help naming one of the giraffes.

Last week, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center took to social media to share a secret they have been holding in for over a month. It was announced that the conservation facility has added two new baby giraffes, bringing their total to four since March. The first one is named “Frizzy” and was born on April 3rd. However, the other giraffe, which was born on April 23rd, is still nameless, which is why Fossil Rim has launched a vote to help pick the baby girl’s name.

According to NBC DFW, three names were submitted by members of the Environmental Engagement Department to be voted on. The names are Maple, Mimosa and Kamaria. Hopefully the giraffe doesn’t grow up to think she’s more of a “Jackie.”
