Frisco has grown quite a bit in the last few years, but apparently it’s not only because of all the businesses moving into town. Apparently the population boom is not just families moving to the neighborhood, but retirees as well. A new study recently named Frisco as the 7th best city for retirement in the entire country.
SmartAsset recently unveiled their 2023 edition of their “Where Retirees are Moving” list. This year, two Texas cities made the top 10, with Frisco making the cut for the very first time. According to Dallas Culture Map, Frisco landed the number seven spot on the list after having a net gain of 960 seniors.
The only other Texas city on the list was San Antonio at number three. Overall, the top city in America for retirees was Mesa, Arizona. Maybe one day Frisco will have that title.
