It seems every hobby has a convention for enthusiasts to come together and experience everything their favorite activity has to offer. While there are conventions for movies, video games, sports and so much more, the latest coming to DFW is all about toys. The DFW G.I. Joe & Action Figure Show will take place in Grapevine later this month, and the event is expected to be packed with nostalgia.
Coming to the Grapevine Convention Center June 10-12, the DFW G.I. Joe & Action Figure Show will feature all the classics, along with some never before seen action figures. According to CW33, the entire 12,000 square foot facility will be full of action figures and accessories from hit franchises like G.I. Joe, Marvel, Star Wars and more. Of course, there will be some obscure action figures on display as well, as enthusiasts who create custom figures will be featured as well.
The event will include a customs competition for both adults and children to show off their own creations. More information for next weekend’s event can be found here. For action figure lovers, Grapevine will soon be the place to be.
