No one enjoys when uninvited guests decide to show up to a party. It’s even worse when the party crashers are a group of curious wild animals. That’s exactly what happened recently during a high school group’s pool party in Tennessee, as seven black bears decided to ruin their good time.
As seen in the now viral video, seven black bears make their way to a pool area, with some even taking advantage of the empty pool and going for a swim. The incident took place at the Chalet Village near the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. According to Fox News, the pool party was for a high school JROTC group, who luckily all safely left the area before the bears took over.
“Right place at the right time I guess. The guys at Chalet Village said they had never seen so many at one time,” said Michelle Johnson, who originally shared the video online. In this video, the human party-goers can be heard discussing the bear party crashers, with one mentioning they managed to grab all the food before the bears got there. Clearly they knew the bears wouldn’t wait 30 minutes to swim after eating.
