Halloween may still be a few months away, but that hasn’t stopped many from thinking about how they will spend the holiday this year. Luckily for Harry Potter fans, an event is coming to town that will fit perfectly for the Dumbledore costume they wear year after year. It was recently announced a Harry Potter Forbidden Forest event will take over a park in Little Elm this October, and it may even stick around for a few months after Halloween.

On October 28, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment will launch ‘Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience’ in Little Elm, bringing the world of the ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Fantastic Beasts’ movies to the metroplex. According to Dallas Culture Map, visitors will walk through an outdoor trail filled with mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, unicorns, and Nifflers, and will get to practice casting their very own spells. There is also a themed village at the end of the trail with food, drinks and a gift shop.

While this is the first time the Harry Potter experience is coming to Texas, it had previous runs in the U.K., New York, Brussels, and Washington D.C. While no end date has been announced at this time, a PR representative for the event said they expect it to be open for around three months. Soon, Hogwarts won’t seem so far away.
