In most cases it doesn’t take long before an internet trend becomes old news. However, there is one that has stood the test of time; rickrolling. For years, the internet has found new ways to trick people into hearing Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up.’ Now, a group of Harvard students have found a new way to rickroll everyone, and this one may be the most annoying yet.

Over the years there have been many different versions of ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ made for the purpose of rickrolling. While just about every instrument has been used to cover the song, Harvard’s HarvardTHUD group has found a new way to jam out to Rick Astley. As seen in the now viral video, the group uses an instrument called a “boomwhacker” to cover the song.

According to Laughing Squid, the video has been viewed over 40,000 times since being shared. The students even honor Rick Astley by wearing sunglasses in the video. Clearly the rickrolling trend will never end.
