HEB hasn’t been in DFW for long, but already North Texans are seeing just how much shopping they can do at the Texas-based grocery store. Whether its food, home needs, clothing or just about any other product that can be purchased, most likely it can be found at HEB. Now, the grocery store chain has teamed up with thumbtack to offer their customers even more services at a discounted price.
HEB recently announced a partnership with home management platform, Thumbtack, to offer customers in-store suggestions and hiring information for local pet service providers, landscapers, repair people, and more. According to My San Antonio, Thumbtack has already rolled out displays for their services inside more than 300 HEB locations. All users have to do is scan a QR code and they will receive access to the services while shopping.
Customers will also be offered a 10% discount for using the in-store Thumbtack displays. "Thumbtack's job is to make caring for everything in and around the home a seamless experience for the homeowner," said David Steckel, senior director of Strategic Partnerships at Thumbtack. With this, shopping at HEB just got even better.
