Now that HEB is in DFW, they can’t seem to get enough of the metroplex as yet another store is set to break ground. The Texas-based grocer recently announced they will break ground on the Mansfield location Friday morning. The store located at the corner of U.S. 287 and Broad Street is expected to open in 2024.

HEB’s second Tarrant County location will begin the construction process Friday, as a special ceremony will be held for the store’s ground breaking. The event will be held in a heated tent with treats and warm drinks. While not much is known about the 118,000-square-foot store at this time, they are expected to hire more than 700 employees for the new location, according to NBC DFW.
