Owning a piece of history can be pretty cool depending on what the item is. While many collectors are constantly on the hunt for their next big haul, sometimes these pieces end up in people’s homes without their knowledge. For those in DFW wanting to have a little piece of history of their own, they will soon have that chance as Heritage Auctions in Dallas will be holding a massive auction next month that features items from JFK, the Titanic and more.
Heritage Auctions recently announced they will hold an auction on December 1 that features some great items from historical figures. According to Fox 4 News, some of the items include John F. Kennedy's rocking chair, Jack Ruby's wallet and a deck chair from the Titanic. Along with the rocking chair, the auction will also feature some other JFK personal items, such as letters and notes, as well as a typewriter that he used to type speeches.
The auction will take place online, over the phone and in person, with the event beginning at 1 P.M. Soon, someone will be going home with their own piece of history.
