While the growth of food delivery apps in recent years has made it easier than ever to get good food at home, there still is nothing better than a quality home cooked meal. Of course, not everyone is capable of making the level of food at home they’ve become accustom to ordering from restaurants. Luckily, a new app just launched in DFW that will deliver home cooked meals to customers.
‘Cookin’ is a food-delivery platform offering home-cooked meals that launched in Canada in 2022. After seeing some success up north, and raising $17 million earlier this year, the company decided it was time to venture into America. According to Lake Highlands Advocate, the company selected Dallas to make their US debut, launching in DFW last week.
Dallas was selected due to its “food-curious consumers and a superb pool of talented food creators,” said Cookin. They also plan to expand to Austin and Houston later this year. Thanks to this app, even the worst chefs can now enjoy a home cooked meal regularly.
