There has been a rivalry between DFW and Houston for as long as most can remember. The two cities are often compared, and any time one comes out on top of the other, residents let it be known. Now, in the latest battle between the two cities, DFW has once again come out on top, but this time for ranking lower on a list, as Houston was recently named one of the most sinful cities in America.
Wallethub recently conducted a study to find the most sinful cities in the United States. While number one on the list was obvious, Las Vegas, as the town is affectionately known as “Sin City,” some of the others were a bit of a surprise. According to CW33, the study looked at 38 different metrics to determine their rankings including violent crimes per capita, excessive drinking, and adult entertainment establishments per capita.
Based on the data, the study ranked Houston as the fourth most sinful city in America. While no other Texas city landed in the top 10, Dallas ended up ranked 17th on the list, and Fort Worth was 81st. While DFW isn’t perfect, at least it is less sinful than Houston.
