Usually when entertainers attempt to be musicians, it ends poorly. However, not all actors have the musical talent of Jack Black. The actor may be known to most for his film work, but has gained quite a following for his music as well. Now, Black has gone viral thanks to a cover of David Bowie’s ‘Suffragette City’ with a little help from some very talented music students.

Back in 2003, Jack Black starred in the film ‘School of Rock’ where his character pretends to be a teacher in order to start a band comprised of kids. Now, Black has gone back to working with kids, this time covering David Bowie with “the original school of rock.” In the video, Black performs with students from Blue Bear School of Music in San Francisco, which is “the longest-running rock and roll school in the nation, and probably the world.”

According to NME, the school was founded in 1971, and to celebrate their 50th anniversary, they had Jack Black join them virtually for a cover of ‘Suffragette City.’ Many fans were impressed with the cover, asking for more in the future. Maybe this will inspire Jack Black to make a ‘School of Rock’ sequel.
