Any time winter weather hits North Texas, the first thing people worry about are the driving conditions. With icy roads back in the metroplex once again this week, many drivers have already felt the wrath of the slippery streets. Luckily, a group of Jeep owners have hit the roads to help save cars stuck in the weather conditions.
Volunteers from three different Jeep enthusiast groups hit the road on Wednesday as winter weather struck North Texas. Drivers from The North Texas Jeep Club, Jeep Girl Mafia and Redemption Off Road have been helping to pull cars that are stuck, with many towing companies too busy to help everyone. “What we’re going to do is go out and try to assist stranded motorists when they get stuck and not be able to get thereself (sic) out,” said Jeep driver David Lee.

According to CBS DFW, the group previously helped drivers during the winter storm that occurred earlier this month. “Instead of having to spend a $125 to $200 for a tow truck to come help them, we just go do the good Samaritan route and give them a hand,” said Lee. After this, it may be hard for some drivers to have road rage when they see a Jeep on the road.
