Not many films are beloved enough that fans celebrate the anniversary of its release year after year. However, ‘Ghostbusters’ is definitely one of those films, as fans all over the world recently celebrated Ghostbusters day, honoring the movie’s 37th anniversary. Recently, ‘Jeopardy!’ decided to join in on the fun too, adding two ‘Ghostbusters’ themed categories to the answer board.
During Mayim Bialik's final episode as the ‘Jeopardy!’ guest host, the show included a tribute to ‘Ghostbusters’ by including a “ghost” and “busters” category. Of course, the answers in these categories had nothing to do with the film. Instead, the “ghost” category featured clues that had to do with the word "ghost" in some way, while “busters” were questions that involved different Busters, like which boxing legend was knocked out by Buster Douglas, according to Movie Web.
"Which category are you going to pick? Get ready- GHOST and BUSTERS will be two options for contestants on this week's Jeopardy!," tweeted the official ‘Ghostbusters’ account. Fans seemed to enjoy the tribute, though some wanted to film themed questions as well. Maybe those will be included on the next Ghostbusters Day.
