The Super Bowl may be this Sunday but not everyone has picked who they want to win this year’s game yet. For those without a rooting interest in the game, that also happen to be fans of the band Survivor, they may now have a new reason to watch. Earlier this week, Survivor keyboardist Jim Peterik shared a video performing the band’s hit song, ‘Eye of the Tiger’ with new lyrics supporting the Cincinnati Bengals.

‘Eye of the Tiger’ has always had a connection to sports, thanks to its use in the ‘Rocky’ franchise and during live sporting events around the globe. However, fans of the Los Angeles Rams may not be playing the song that much this weekend. Earlier this week, Survivor keyboardist Jim Peterik, who wrote the band’s hit song, shared a video changing the lyrics to support the Cincinnati Bengals.

“I may not be the biggest football fan, but when the Bengals are at the Super Bowl, I know who I’m rooting for! Joe Burrow’s got the EYE OF THE TIGER – this one’s for you!" said Peterik. According to WLWT, Peterik performed the song with a tiger striped guitar while wearing orange and white glasses. Maybe Peterik’s new hype song will be enough to push the Bengals over the top.
