Finding the right song to include in a movie or television show can take a scene from good to great. Plenty of songs have had success thanks to its use in a soundtrack, and now a classic song is having a resurgence thanks to its inclusion in the latest season of ‘Stranger Things.’ Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ was used in a crucial scene, and now is flying up the charts once again.

Throughout its run, ‘Stranger Things’ has given fans plenty of ’80s nostalgia, especially with the music used in the show. The latest season has incorporated beloved hits such as Joy Division’s ‘Atmosphere’ and The Clash’s ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go,’ but the one that has made the biggest impact on fans has been Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill.’ Without giving away any spoilers, the song is used as a character’s favorite, and plays a crucial role in the fourth season.

Since the show’s fourth season was released, Kate Bush’s song has become popular once again, shooting up charts and reaching number one on iTunes singles chart, according to UPROXX. The song was originally released in 1985, but seems to be even more beloved in 2022. If Kate Bush wasn’t a fan of ‘Stranger Things’ before, she definitely is now.
