For many that grew up in the 90s, Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell were one of the first comedy duos they fell in love with. The Nickelodeon stars rose to fame thanks to ‘All That,’ ‘Kenan & Kel’ and their beloved movie ‘Good Burger.’ Now, after years apart Thompson has revealed the duo could soon be getting back together for ‘Good Burger 2.’
Kenan and Kel fans have been asking for a ‘Good Burger’ sequel for years, and they may finally be getting their wish. Thompson, who has spent the last 19 year starring on ‘SNL,’ recently claimed a ‘Good Burger 2’ script has been written, and is closer than ever to becoming a reality. “It's closer than it's ever been, so I don't think anything is gonna derail it,” said Thompson.
According to ET Online, it's been 25 years since the first film hit theaters. Not much else is known about the project, but many fans are excited to finally see the duo back together. While some are tired of sequels, this is one plenty will be excited for.
