Earlier this month, DFW wrestling fans got a surprise no one was expecting when it was announced Kevin Von Erich would return to the metroplex for a one man show in September. Now, after positive response to that show’s announcement, the wrestling legend is announcing he will take the show on the road, with multiple stops in Texas along the way. The tour will take place in September and will see Von Erich hit stages in Louisiana and Oklahoma as well.
Kevin Von Erich has quite a story to tell, and fans will get an inside look at the life and career of the wrestling legend in ‘An Evening with Kevin Von Erich: Stories From the Top Rope.’ The show will be moderated by fellow DFW legend Dale Hansen. According to Dallas Morning News, the tour will still start September 1 at the Majestic Theater in Dallas, but will now include stops in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Stafford, Amarillo and Midland as well.
Fans outside of Texas will have the chance to see the show too, as Von Erich will also go to Shreveport, Louisiana and Midwest City, Oklahoma. With these shows, and a biopic about the wrestling legend coming out later this year, fans are getting all the Von Erich content they can handle.
