There aren’t many bands from the 70s still touring today, but somehow KISS continues to hit the road year after year. Despite multiple farewell and reunion tours, the band continues to move forward playing all over the world. It has led to many fans wondering how the aging rock stars still do it. Sadly, that may have recently been revealed as some fans have shared video of what they claim proves the band was using backing tracks during a recent show.
KISS performed in Antwerp, Belgium earlier this week, and while many fans left satisfied, others believe they spotted the band making a major mistake. During the opening song, ‘Detroit Rock City,’ drummer Eric Singer reportedly made a mistake that made the vocal track “out of sync with what the band is actually playing,” claimed one fan in attendance. According to Blabbermouth, multiple videos of the mistake have since been shared online.

This is not the first time KISS has been accused of using backing tracks during concert. A few years back, a war of words with Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx broke out over the use of backing tracks. Luckily, KISS continues to put on a great live show, so many fans will continue rocking out to the band, with or without backing tracks.
