Klyde Warren Park is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, and to honor a decade in DFW they added some new features for guests to enjoy. Some of the upgrades, like the new fountain, have already been implemented, but on Friday the park will unveil their latest expansion. The Sheila and Jody Grant Children’s Park is set to reopen, featuring more room for kids to play and some great additions for them to enjoy.
On Friday, Klyde Warren Park will debut the new Sheila and Jody Grant Children’s Park. The 16,000 square foot deck park is located at 1909 Woodall Rodgers Fwy., Dallas, TX 75201 and will reopen at 10 A.M. Some of the new features of the park include an interactive water feature, a kid-sized climbing wall, a shaded pavilion for family events and birthday parties, and a 35-foot climbing tower and slide.

According to NBC DFW, the new expansion to the children’s park was made possible through a donation from the Perot family. “They have been long-time friends of Sheila and Jody [Grant] and they have watched it work for the past 20 years to create something everyone can enjoy it for this community,” said park President Kit Sawers. With these additions, DFW kids may soon have a new favorite park.
