Going to the grocery store can be a frustrating experience for many shoppers. While some create organized lists and maneuver through the store with ease, others struggle dealing with people and remembering what items they actually need. Luckily for shoppers in DFW, Kroger recently opened a new high tech fulfilment center that will allow for quick and easy grocery delivery throughout the metroplex.

With grocery delivery services becoming more and more popular, Kroger decided to build a Customer Fulfillment Center that would allow customers from Oklahoma City to Austin to have groceries delivered right to their door. The fulfilment center is now open and is located at 4221 Telephone Rd in Dallas. The location will make it so everyone in North Texas will now be able to order delivery from Kroger, according to Dallas Culture Map.

The new fulfilment center features more than 1,000 bots that move around giant 3D grids to retrieve products and take them to pick stations where items are sorted for delivery. “Customers can use Kroger.com or the Kroger app to check the weekly circular, select personalized digital coupons, search products by dietary preference and ultimately place their delivery order, saving time and money," said Kroger VP and head of e-commerce Bill Bennett. With this new service, grocery shopping in DFW has never been easier.
