It appears that even more of Louis Vuitton's luxury handbags will be crafted right here in North Texas.
Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, has revealed his plans to open a second Louis Vuitton manufacturing plant in North Texas. The company has already set up shop in Alvarado, and according to the Dallas Morning News, wants to open a new factory just north of Dallas by early 2027.
The news comes on the heels of Arnault pressing European leaders to work out a trade deal with President Trump similar to the deal reached with Japan. CFO Cecile Cabanis said on an analyst call earlier this year that "we'll see at what pace and how much we want that to evolve" after a question about production in the U.S.:
