Yesterday we learned for the upcoming holiday travel season, Southwest Airlines will be raising the price of alcohol on their flights. That’s really a shame because if you’re flying out of Love Field, you might need a drink or two after finally getting on the plane.
According to a new study from Upgraded Points, Love Field ranked as the 11th worst airport in the nation for the busiest Transportation Security Administration line wait time during holiday travel.
Passengers can expect to wait an average of 7.6 minutes in the TSA line, which is 7.8% slower than its annual average. DFW Airport ranks No. 45 on the list with an average wait time of 4.3 minutes.
According to the list, the worst day of the week for TSA wait times is Sunday at Love Field and Wednesday at DFW Airport.
The busiest days to travel at both Dallas-area airports will reportedly be Nov. 25, 26 and 27.
