Airports are always looking for new amenities to add to terminals to make traveling a little bit more enjoyable. Now, Dallas Love Field has announced something new that will definitely make travelers from the metroplex very happy. The airport will open a new biergarten honoring DFW’s favorite German, Dirk Nowitzki.
Nowitzki biergarten is expected to open in the West Concourse of Love Field later this fall. The new biergarten kiosk will feature a full bar with beer, wine, and snacks, according to Dallas Culture Map. “This has been in the works for a few years. Our company founders Derek Missimo and Don Mitchell met Dirk and shared their idea of creating a restaurant around him and his persona. He really liked the idea," said spokesperson Heather Peoples.

The new biergarten will be full of Nowitzki-inspired decor, including Dirk-themed photos and memorabilia. Fans will also be able to purchase merchandise such as t-shirts, beer steins, and mementos. For Mavs fans, nothing makes flying easier than a few beers and some Dirk highlights.
