Fans of musicians are always looking to find ways to connect with their favorite artists in ways other than just their music. That’s why many buy memorabilia, travel to destinations important to the artist and even try to relive experience the musician they follow once made famous. Luckily for fans of Lynyrd Skynyrd, they now can experience the Lynyrd Skynyrd lifestyle exactly as the Van Zant boys did as children. It was recently announced that the childhood home of Ronnie Van Zant is now available for rent on Airbnb.
Known as “the Van Zant House,” the home in Jacksonville, Florida was home to Ronnie, Johnny and Donnie Van Zant “between the 1950s and 1980s.” Listed as an official heritage site, the home features a plaque outside noting the family once lived there, along with many nods towards Lynyrd Skynyrd and their legacy. “Inside this main house, you'll find some cool memorabilia, a vintage 1938 Brunswick pool table, and a retro 70's feel, to remind us all of the way things were, with a hint of nostalgia,” claims the listing.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the home features three bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests, with stays starting at $274 per night. For Lynyrd Skynyrd fans, this may be their best chance to live like Ronnie Van Zant. Maybe some singing skills will even rub off on them.
