The internet is full of talented musicians just hoping someone notices their work. These days it seems the easiest way for that to happen is to go viral with a cover song done in an odd or original way. One musician definitely did that, creating a parody song that makes it sound as if the Beach Boys recorded the T-Pain song ‘Apple Bottom Jeans’ back in the 60s.

Youtuber Salvador Peralta is clearly a big fan of T-Pain’s ‘Apple Bottom Jeans.’ The aspiring musician has a channel full of different videos covering the song in different styles. While this has gained him a small following, his most recent version has definitely sent his views skyrocketing. In the video, Peralta records the T-Pain song in the style of the Beach Boys, and many fans are claiming it sounds like the real thing.

“Shawty get around,” Peralta captioned the now viral video. According to Boing Boing, the video has been viewed over 400,000 times since being shared. Maybe after seeing the popularity of this version, the real Beach Boys will give it a try.
