A Texas man has it out for one of the biggest corporations in the world and will not stop his fight until his demands are met. And they really are demanding.
Roderick Jackson of Waskom, TX has filed two handwritten complaints against Walmart, and is seeking compensation to the tune of 100 million or unlimited free shopping at any Walmart location for LIFE.
Per NBC News, the complaints Jackson filed don't really go into detail about why Jackson filed the lawsuit, other than in incident that occurred at a Walmart in Omaha, Nebraska in March 2021 that involved "false pretense of shoplifting," and the violation of his civil rights "based on race/color."
A spokesperson for Walmart said that it does "not tolerate discrimination of any kind."
"We are aware of Mr. Jackson's complaint and intend to defend the company against the allegations once we have been served," the company said.
In 2021, Jackson filed a similar lawsuit against Walmart, citing "emotional stress and pain from the handcuffs" after he was falsely accused of shoplifting.
That suit was dismissed because Jackson failed to properly serve Walmart.
