Marriage proposals can be difficult to plan, as everyone wants to make sure their engagement is as memorable as possible. Luckily for Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, he made all the right moves recently proposing to his longtime girlfriend in front of a picturesque castle. However, Mavs owner Mark Cuban found the only way in Texas that can be topped, as he recently revealed he proposed to his wife at Whataburger.

During a recent interview, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was asked about his star player’s recent engagement, claiming he had no clue what to get Doncic for a gift. Of course, the conversation then turned to Cuban’s own marriage proposal, but to the surprise of many the billionaire’s moment wasn’t as extravagant as most would assume. When asked if his proposal was similar to Doncic’s, Cuban responded, “Hell no. I was like, let's go Whataburger."

Luckily for Cubans wife, the wedding was a bit more romantic, as the couple got married in Barbados back in 2002, according to Sports Manor. As for the Whataburger proposal, Cuban didn’t share many details, but it’s something many other Texans have attempted before. Clearly Whataburger is simply the most romantic spot in Texas.
