One of the most beloved shows on television right now may soon be coming to an end, as it was recently reported that ‘Yellowstone’ could be done after season five. Rumors have been swirling that the show’s star, Kevin Costner, is ready to move on. However, it appears the franchise has another star in mind to take over, as it is believed Matthew McConaughey may star in a future ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff.

Some major changes are on the way for ‘Yellowstone’ as a recent report claimed creator Taylor Sheridan, Paramount Global and Paramount Network are “moving to end their signature show in its current form.” This comes after it was reported Kevin Costner only wanted to shoot for 50 days for the first part of the current season and a week for the second part. While many fans were disappointed by the rumor, plenty were excited at the news Costner could be replaced by McConaughey.
