DFW knows a thing or two about honoring legends. This is clear when driving around the metroplex, as murals of some of the most famous people in the area can be seen all around the city, and that’s especially true for our sports heroes. Whether it’s a Dallas Cowboys legend or iconic Dallas Maverick Dirk Nowitzki, these artworks keep popping up. Now, a local artist has revealed a new mural for North Texas’ next sports legend, Luka Doncic.
Over the weekend, local artist Juan Velazquez revealed his latest mural on the streets of DFW. His latest artwork depicts Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic on the side of a building. According to Velazquez’ Twitter, the mural is located at 305 E Saner Ave in Dallas.
This is not Velazquez’ first mural in DFW. Some of his other works include a Dak Prescott mural, and recently he did a piece honoring the Uvalde victims. Hopefully more work from this impressive muralist will continue popping up all over DFW.
