Even with all the reboots that have been made over the last few years, fans know there are some classic movies that just can’t be brought back. One classic franchise fans would love to see a sequel of, but know for many reasons its cant happen is ‘Back to the Future.’ While there won’t be a new ‘Back to the Future’ any time soon, Michael J. Fox has teased the return of his most iconic character, albeit in a way not many were expecting.
The actor appears as Marty McFly in a teaser trailer for the upcoming music video for Lil Nas X’s song, ‘Holiday.’ Lil Nas X went viral in 2018 for his hit song, ‘Old Town Road.’ Now, he is hoping for a second viral hit, and has teamed up with Michael J. Fox to do so.
In the teaser trailer, Fox as Marty McFly warns Lil Nas X about time traveling, saying “Just don't go to 2020.” Many fans were excited to see the return of Marty McFly in the same western setting of the third and final ‘Back to the Future’ sequel. Now fans just have to hope that somehow this leads to an even bigger return of Marty McFly.
