Jeff Bezos has taken the lead in the billionaire space race and doesn’t seem to be looking back. The Amazon and Blue Origin founder has already launched William Shatner into space, and now another celebrity is set to take the trip. It was announced recently that Good Morning America host Michael Strahan will join Alan Shepard’s daughter and four others on Blue Origin’s next trip to space.
It appears Blue Origin’s next space flight will be just as star studded as the last, with the former NFL star and the daughter of America’s first astronaut set to see what space is all about. According to CNN, Strahan and Laura Shepard Churchley will be joined by four paying customers; Dylan Taylor, Evan Dick, Lane Bess and Cameron Bess. It will be the first Blue Origin flight to fill all six seats in the New Shepard rocket and capsule.

The announcement was made by Strahan on Good Morning America, who claimed he had to be measured to make sure he would fit in the capsule.
Many are now wondering what celebrities will be launched into space next.
Hopefully Elon Musk and Richard Branson step things up, or else the billionaire space race will be all Bezos.
