With summer right around the corner, many are starting to hit the gym a little bit more. However, some still need a little more inspiration to get to work on their summer look. That’s why Michelob Ultra recently announced a new promotion offering free beer to those who can prove they work out.
The beer company, owned by Anheuser-Busch, announced their new “Ultra Beer Rub” giveaway this week. According to Fox News, those who are 21 or older can “exchange their miles, push-ups, downward dogs or any exercise activity” for free Michelob Ultra. All participants have to do is post a post workout photo on the MyCooler app as “proof of a workout” and they will receive a $5 prepaid card to spend on beer.
"Workouts that end with a 'cheers' are the best kind!" said Ricardo Marques, Michelob Ultra’s vice president of marketing. Many beer fans are hoping this is what inspires them to get off the couch and start moving. If not, it will be a summer of paying for beer once again.
