‘America’s Got Talent’ is back once again and while that means plenty of embarrassing auditions going viral, one of the more impressive ones has been spreading on the internet recently as well. This week, music teacher John Wines’ audition was aired, and while many thought he would quickly get the “X” when he first walked on stage, by the end the entire audience was blown away. Wines was able to win everybody over thanks to his incredible guitar skills.
John Wines is a 59-year-old music teacher and former electrician that will now be able to add ‘America’s Got Talent’ contestant to his resume. During a recent episode, Wines stunned viewers by playing guitar just like Brian May and Eddie Van Halen. According to Consequence, Wines played Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’ during his audition, along with showing off some Van Halen guitar techniques.
“I was not expecting that,” stated Simon Cowell after the audition. All the judges were fans as Wines was passed through to the next round. Now, fans will have to wait and see what guitar icon he shreds like next.
