Music videos may not be as popular as they once were, but that doesn’t mean artists aren’t putting their all into them. 21-year-old singer Maeta recently proved that, sharing a clip from a recent music video shoot that involved snakes crawling on her face. As seen in the clip, one of the snakes bites the singer in the face as she films the scene.
When a musician is still in the “up and coming” stage of their career, they sometimes have to do things a little over the top to get noticed. That’s why R&B singer Maeta, who is currently signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, probably said yes to having snakes crawl on her face during a music video. As seen in the now viral clip, Maeta is laying on the ground with snakes on top of her, when one of the reptiles quickly bites her face.

“What I go through to make videos for y’all,” the singer captioned the now viral clip. According to Bro Bible, the video has been viewed over 200,000 times since being shared. Hopefully her music career works out, or else this is what she will be known for.
