Over the years there have been plenty of reality shows based in Texas. Now, one of Netflix’s most popular reality series is heading to the Lone Star State to see what all the fuss is about. It was recently reported that season three of ‘Love is Blind’ was filmed in DFW, and many are excited to see what aspects of the metroplex are on display.
Back in 2020, Netflix stunned viewers with a new dating reality series that attempts to get singles to meet, date, fall in love, and propose without ever setting eyes on each other. In the show, 30 singles are separated into two houses by gender, where they speak to each other in pods separated by a wall. The first two seasons of the show were filmed in Atlanta and Chicago, but the crew decided to head south for the upcoming third season.
According to Dallas Observer, the third season has already been filmed, though it is unknown what parts of North Texas were used for the show. Hopefully plenty of greatness in DFW is shown to counter the people on display in the show. If not, Texas will finally have something to not be proud of.
