Any time a new restaurant opens, they try to feature something that separates them from the rest. While good food is always a good start, they need something that makes someone want to try something new and leave their go-to spot. That’s why a new DFW restaurant is adding some entertainment to their cuisine, with video games, board games and sci-fi.

Farm + Feed recently opened at the Shops at Legacy in Plano, and while they promise a chef-driven restaurant and full bar, the restaurant also features all the latest gaming technology, plus old-school board games. Inside the 8,000 square foot restaurant with a "post-apocalyptic” theme are; 20 booths containing TVs, a Nintendo Switch, and either an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, plus four controllers, a library full of sci-fi books and 16 more PCs, game stations featuring classics like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, 100+ board games, chess boards, and card games.

According to Dallas Culture Map, the menu was created by Matt Yuen, and consists of "fun, craveable" dishes. “We grew up playing video games and DnD late into the night, always with plenty of food and drinks,” said owner Max Seel. Now people will have a place to go and do the same.
