There is no shortage of places to hear live music all throughout DFW. Whether it’s a bar, music hall, arena or stadium, music acts of all sizes have a place to perform in North Texas. Now, a new venue can be added to the list as Fort Worth’s Tannahill’s Tavern and Music Hall recently announced their official opening date with a list of shows to help them launch.

Earlier this year, Chef Tim Love announced plans to open a new music venue at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Now, they have announced the 1,000 person venue located at the horse and mule barns in Mule Alley will open on October 1st. The venue will kick things off with performances by Foreigner and Ludacris, along with a Fleetwood Mac cover band and many more musical acts.

According to Dallas Morning News, Love is no stranger to the Fort Worth Stockyards, with seven concepts open or coming soon to that area.
The chef will also create menus for concessions during concerts. Hopefully this new venue helps bring the funk to Funky Town.
