It has been four years since anyone in DFW was able to enjoy a meal with a view of the metroplex at the top of Reunion Tower, but that will change next month as steakhouse Crown Block will take over the space. The restaurant recently announced their official opening date while giving a sneak peak of their menu. Now, anticipation is starting to build as the restaurant has some high expectations to live up to.
On April 17th, North Texans will be able to once again eat inside Reunion Tower, as Crown Block will officially open their doors that Monday. While the restaurant will no longer spin, diners will still get the unique 360-degree skyline views. According to Dallas Culture Map, Crown Block’s menu will feature Prime Beef, Texas Wagyu, and Japanese A5 Wagyu; sushi and a chilled seafood bar; and a dessert bar.

Some of the dishes chef Kim Canteenwalla is most excited about include Regiis Ova Caviar, Wagyu croquettes with Keen’s hot mustard sauce, Heartbrand Akaushi striploin, from Flatonia, Texas, Rosewood Ranch Bone-In Strip Steak from Ennis and Triple cooked steak fries with truffle mayonnaise. With a menu like that, this new restaurant may just be worth the wait.
