The Colony is quickly becoming one of the best places in DFW for entertainment, and soon they will have a new place for drinks as well, though this one may be a bit hard to find. It was recently announced that a speakeasy called "Red Phone Booth” would be opening at the Grotto at Grandscape. The bar will feature a “prohibition experience” for cocktail and cigar enthusiasts.
Red Phone Booth is hoping to bring the “Roaring Twenties” back in DFW with a new 6,000-square-foot venue featuring a turn-of-the-century craft cocktail selection and an exclusive cigar program. According to WFAA, the bar is expected to open in March, but guests will need a secret phone number from a member, local hotel or restaurant to get in. “Red Phone Booth would be the perfect complement for adults looking for a unique Prohibition experience where they can enjoy award-winning cocktails while focusing on conversation among friends and colleagues,” said owner and founder, Stephen de Haan.

The cocktail menu will include more than 400 spirits including rare bourbon, whiskey, scotch, tequila and Japanese whisky selections. As for food, they will serve Italian-inspired appetizers and a small bites menu. For anyone looking to drink in a time machine, this may be the bar for them.
