For years, people have credited Chick-fil-A with having the best customer service of any fast food chain. However, things have apparently changed over the last year. According to a new study, Chick-fil-A has the slowest drive-thru of any fast food chain, with KFC shockingly being named the chain with the fastest drive-thru.
The study, conducted by SeeLevel HX, looked at drive-thru wait times over the last year, with many chains seeing an increase in drive-thru production. What they found was KFC customers waited the least amount of time on line, with an average of 283.3 seconds per trip. Chick-fil-A customers had to wait almost double that time, with customers waiting an average of 488.8-seconds for their food.
According to Motor1, while most fast food chains had their wait times increase over the last year, McDonalds and Taco Bell manage to shave time off their drive-thru wait times. Still, even with the longer wait many customers say they still prefer Chick-fil-A, citing customer service as one of the main reasons. Hopefully Chick-fil-A can figure out a way to save customers some more time at the drive-thru.
