Everyone wants to be described as hardworking, but most do not make the cut. However, according to a new study more people from Texas are on that list than most of the states in the US. The recent study ranked Texas as the fifth hardest working state in the country.
Wallethub recently conducted a study to find the hardest working state in the country. The study looked at a number of factors to determine these rankings, and based on their data Texas was the fifth hardest working state. According to CW33, Texas being ranked fourth in number of workweek hours helped get the Lone Star state to the top five.

Beating out Texas were North Dakota, Alaska, Nebraska, South Dakota. While those states ranked higher, Texas was by far the largest state in the top five. Based on these numbers, many in Texas now have a stat to back up just how hard they work.
