Valentine's Day is coming up and while plenty already have their plans set and gifts purchased, others are once again struggling to come up with a last minute idea. Luckily, there's always the safe Valentine's Day option of flowers and candy. For those going with the traditional holiday gift, but don't know their Valentine's preference, a new study has revealed each state's favorite Valentine's Day candy, so they don't screw up more than they already have.
When it comes to picking a candy, there's one major decision that has to be made first; chocolate of fruit flavored. Apparently that is a dilemma most of the country has to deal with, as a new study shows the country split between the two options. The study, conducted by TopAgency.com using data from Google Trends, found that 20 states picked M&M's as their favorite Valentine's Day candy while 17 states picked Skittles as their top choice.
Other candies making the list were KitKats, Snickers, Reese's, and Starbursts. According to Fox News, The top choice for Texas was Skittles. Hopefully this makes finding a Valentine's Day gift a little easier.
