Christmas is only a few weeks away, but the holiday spirit is already in full swing here in Texas. While there are many different traditions people honor this time of year, a favorite of many is watching Christmas movies leading up to the holiday. There are so many to choose from, but luckily for those looking to find the perfect movie to watch this season, a new study has found the most popular Christmas movies in every state.
Wishlisted recently conducted a study to find each state's top choice for Christmas movie. Using IMDB's Top 100 Christmas movies of all-time list and Google Trends, they were able to determine every state's favorite. According to CW33, the top choice for Texas was 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.'
Texas' top choice shouldn't come as a surprise, as the study found it was the top choice in 40 different states. Some other movies that made the list were 'It's a Wonderful Life,' 'Love Actually,' 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' 'Gremlins,' 'Edward Scissorhands,' 'Die Hard' and 'The Shop Around the Corner.' With this list, finding the perfect Christmas movie should no longer be difficult.
