Relationships are always tough, regardless of what stage they are in. Whether it’s a new couple, or one that has been together for years, sometimes it becomes too much and the two parties are forced to go their separate ways. Now, a new study has found the time of year break ups are most common for each state, so those in struggling relationships will know when to be prepared.
HerNorm.com recently conducted a study on break ups, trying to find if there was a correlation between the relationship’s end and the time of year. Using Google Trends, the study looked at how often “how to break up” was searched in each state. According to CW33, for Texas the data revealed most break ups occur Between February 15 and February 28.

“We call this group the string alongers. They didn’t have the bottle to break up before Valentine’s day—instead, they strung their partner along, waiting for the last 2 weeks in February to give them the chop,” said the study. While break ups are always tough, at least now Texans know when it will be coming.
