While most cities across the United States have a hatred for another nearby town, it usually is nothing more than disliking their sports teams, or making fun of their way of life. However, some cities are disliked throughout the country for a number of reasons. Now, using data from multiple surveys; the top ten most hated cities in America have been determined.
According to the data, collected by Best Life, the most hated city in the United States in Detroit, Michigan. They determined this by using results from four different surveys; “a 2009 Pew survey, a 2016 Travel and Leisure ranking of rudest cities, and two 2017 Travel and Leisure polls that measured the most underrated city and the nation’s favorite city.” Based on their “Hate Index Score” the following cities on the list were; Las Vegas, Baltimore, Los Angeles and St. Louis.
The list also included the top 10 most favorable cities, and while Minneapolis, Minnesota took the top spot, Ft Worth wasn’t far behind at number two. Overall most weren’t too shocked by the list, other than New York not being higher. Luckily no Texas cities made the top 10 most hated list.
