Many wine drinkers often try and come off as experts of their drink of choice. Luckily for those constantly trying to impress their friends with their wine knowledge, they can now attend a school in Texas to actually become a wine aficionado. This month, William Chris Wine Co. will launch a wine school in partnership with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust to help create a new generation of wine experts.
On April 22, the William Chris Wine School will hold their first class as part of their one-of-a-kind ambassador certification course. The program is designed to educate Texans about the intricacies of wine, while ignited their passion for it. “WSET courses are designed to inspire and empower anyone looking to develop their wine knowledge — regardless of prior experience, and from enthusiasts to professionals,” said Director of Education Kelsey Kramer.
According to Dallas Culture Map, the school will offer two track levels with multiple courses: beginner-level WSET Level 1 classes and The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines courses. The level 2 program is for more experienced aficionados and won’t take place until May, June and July. For any Texan wine lover, this may be their chance to take their wine knowledge to the next level.
