For as great as the internet can be, far too often the worst side of people can be found online. However, even the biggest internet trolls can't stop North Texans from sticking together. That was proven recently when hundreds of people on the Dallas Reddit page helped a couple find their stolen dog.
Last week, a couple's French Bulldog was stolen from their yard and despite a trip to the Deep Ellum police station; they feared they may never see their canine companion again. Luckily, a fellow North Texan happened to spot someone carrying a French Bulldog with a strange expression on its face and decided to snap a photo and share it online. The photo ended up on the Dallas Reddit page where hundreds responded attempting to find the dog's rightful owner.
Eventually Andrew Sibley, the dog's owner, saw the photo and was able to get the dog back. According to CBS Texas, within hours of the dog's disappearance North Texas internet detectives had helped solve the crime.
Hopefully the dog thief learned not to mess with DFW anymore.
