It has been quite some time since MTV was known for music. Instead their focus has been on reality television in recent years, and most of the time it’s not about making the people on the show look good. Their latest series is called ‘Help! I’m in a Secret Relationship!’ and it was recently announced that their latest episode will star a couple from DFW.
‘Help! I’m in a Secret Relationship!’ debuted on MTV back in April, giving viewers a look into a couple’s darkest secrets. The show claims to help "baffled lovers when they discover that they're in secret relationships and figure out why their partners didn't want them to go public." According to Dallas Culture Map, next week’s episode will star North Texas’ own Alexia, a 20-year-old server at Knockout Sports Bar; and boyfriend Javy, a professional boxer.
The show is hosted by Travis Mills, an actor and singer-guitarist for a band named Girlfriends; and Rahne Jones, actor and activist who previously worked for the Department of Homeland Security. Hopefully airing their dirty laundry doesn’t come back to haunt this DFW couple.
