March 14th is National Pi Day and a number of DFW pizzerias are offering deals to celebrate. While the holiday was originally created to celebrate the endless mathematical equation, in recent years it has become an excuse to eat pizza pies. This year, some local pizza shops will even be offering pizzas for only $3.14 in honor of the holiday.
While normally people don’t need an excuse to eat pizza, celebrating National Pi Day seems like as good an excuse as any. To celebrate the holiday, Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco will be offering $3.14 pizza pies all day. “It’s the little differences that make a wood-fired pizza extra special, and we go the extra mile because all of our Guests are worth it,” said their website. According to Fort Worth Star Telegram, Blaze Pizza will also be getting in on the festivities, offering up an 11-inch pie for $3.14.
Blaze Pizza has locations in Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie and Mansfield that will be participating. Of course, these deals are only good on March 14. For anyone in the mood for pizza today, they are definitely in luck.
